Update on Forest Fire Risk Measures
Recreational areas and trails with tree cover are closed.
Today, July 17, 2025, the extraordinary activation of Level 1 preventive measures against forest fires has been updated on the island of Tenerife.
🚫 As of today, walking on trails with forest or shrub vegetation, staying in the mountains, and using forest tracks or going off-trail are prohibited.
🏕️ All recreational areas remain closed until further notice.
These restrictions apply to high-risk zones and may be modified if weather conditions require it.
These measures will remain in effect until the Government of the Canary Islands lifts the wildfire alert.
