Trails and facilities closed in Tenerife due to the forestal fire of Summer
These are the areas and routes that are closed to the public.

Among the effects of the wildfire that broke out on August 16th are damage to certain tree masses and the stability of some slopes, which pose significant risks to anyone walking through these areas.
Access is not allowed within the security perimeter of the fire. In the rest of the island, you should check the Fire Risk Level.

Please note that, as required by ongoing work in the area, temporary closures occur, meaning that the list of open and closed trails changes constantly and is updated daily.

THE TRAILS OF THE TEIDE NATIONAL PARK ARE OPEN (Check incidents not related to the wildfire on the interactive map of Tenerife ON).
THE TRAILS CLOSED ON THE REST OF THE ISLAND DUE TO THE FOREST FIRE ARE (Check incidents not related to the wildfire on the interactive map of Tenerife ON):
- Sendero GR 131 Anaga – Chasna (from La Esperanza to El Portillo).
- Sendero PR TF 25.2 Las Lagunetas – Área Recreativa Hoya de Abade (from TF 24 to the end).
- Sendero PR TF 25.3 Las Lagunetas – Los Nateros, except for the section coinciding with the SL TF 26 Los Nateros - La Vica Trail.
- Sendero PR TF 35 La Caldera – Mamio – La Caldera, from the junction with the Camino de Candelaria (section Aguamansa - La Crucita - Los Repelos).
- Sendero PR TF 35.1 Casa del Agua – Pinolere.
- Sendero PR TF 35.2 Ruta del Agua.
- Sendero PR TF 40 Ladera de Tigaiga (from Chanajiga to El Asomadero).
- Sendero PR TF 40.1 Camino Punta del Risco.
THE CYCLING AND HORSERIDING ROUTES CLOSED IN TENERIFE DUE TO THE FOREST FIRE ARE:
- BC 1 Northern Forest Route from Las Erillas to the junction with the Camino a Candelaria (section Aguamansa - La Crucita), Aguamansa, and from the Recreational Area of Chanajiga to Corral Quemado).
- BC 1.2 Las Calderetas in its entirety.
- BC 1.3 La Vica in its entirety.
- BC 1.5 La Lagunetilla Chica in its entirety.
- BC 1.8 Ramón Caminero por La Bermeja, closed from the connection with Pista La Bermeja to Pista Benijos.
- BC 2 Monte de La Esperanza, closed Pista El Fayal.
THE FOREST TRACKS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES CLOSED IN TENERIFE DUE TO THE FOREST FIRE ARE:
- VM 2 Pista Siete Fuentes, from the junction with VM 2.1 to the Hoya de Abade Recreational Area.
- VM 5 Pista del Rayo – Pista de Fondo (2), from Barranco de Bobadilla to Las Charquitas Track.
- VM 6 Pista La Vica, Las Aguilillas, Montaña El Pozo, Carril del Polvo, Baja Camella y Las Calderetas closed from the Las Calderetas Recreational Area onwards.
- VM 12 Pista Chanajiga – Fuente Los Corchos, from VM 17 to the end.
- VM 17 Pista el PK 29, Pista de las Vistas de Sánchez, Pista Barranco de la Arena y Pista El Lagar (from kilometer point 26 of TF 21 to Piedra de los Pastores).
THE FACILITIES CLOSED IN TENERIFE DUE TO THE FOREST FIRE ARE:

- La Laguneta Chica.
- Los Frailes.
