🔔 Extraordinary preventive measures against forest fires in Tenerife.
The Tenerife Island Council, in compliance with Decree 111/2002, has established a series of preventive measures to minimise the risk of forest fires on the island. These measures, in force since June 2023, are enforced in specific risk areas and are activated according to different alert levels, depending on the weather conditions.
🌳 Restrictions and recommendations
Depending on the level of alert (levels 0, 1, 2 and 3), restrictions are placed on activities such as outdoor fires, movement through forest areas or the holding of events. In addition, extreme precautions are recommended across the island to avoid high-risk situations.
